Happy, happy Wednesday everyone! This is week is baby week! I am telling ya!! I am so excited to share this with you and I get to offer a free give away! Whooo hooo!! SUPER EXCITED about that!
Had a dr visit yesterday, everything is going well! Baby looks good and not too big! Phew! After some comments this last week from random people about how huge I was, I was a little worried! I am a little embarrassed to share this part with you , but hey… I believe in being honest :) Baby is great! I am not super great. They have discovered I have a prolapsed bladder! WHAT!! I was not happy about this at all. I have never even heard of it! They said it can happen to women who have lots of kids, ok that is me and women of advanced age, not me. I called my mom, she has had 11 kids, her response, sorry no I did not have that! grrr! So I will be dealing with that, it is not bad, but it is something that may eventually need surgery so keep me in your prayers please! After the baby is born they will check it out again… fingers crossed it gets better!
On a happy note!! BABY ULTRASOUND!! It was amazing! It was like seeing this little baby in real life. I have been so excited to share all these pictures with you! okay! Lets get started!
Mikes friend Elizabeth, owns My First Peek A Boo Racine, She and Mike were talking and wanted to do something amazing and sweet! Mike planned a visit with her with all the children to come and have a 3d/4d ultrasound. I did not know what to expect and I was a little nervous. What if we saw something wrong with the baby? What if is was uncomfortable? What if we had too many kids with us? What if I did not feel comfortable?
My fears were put to rest the minute we walked in. Elizabeth was so warm and so welcoming! She asked a few quick questions and asked if I had eaten or drank something a little sugary, it helps wake the baby up! I had a sprite so I was covered! Great!!
We were ushered into a beautiful spacious room, warm brown walls, it smelled lovely, candles around the room, soft music playing, two roomy overstuffed leather couches and the floor to ceiling screen! There was plenty of room for our family plus some! Elizabeth said they allow up to 35 guests to come watch! What a super idea! Invite all the family and close friends!
Elizabeth made sure all the children were comfortable and could see the screen and then she got started. I thought that was so kind and so very sweet to ask the kids if they were ready. The extra care and time to do that was very appreciated and shows her level of care for her customers!
Charli was so excited!
Lucy and Mikey were ready!
Tucker and the gorgeous man behind it all, Mike , they were ready! The only one not too sure was Marsha! I just have to say, Mike is amazing and wonderful and I am so very blessed to be his wife. I am in awe constantly of him and so grateful for who he is.
We got started! Here are some pictures!
Look at that face! It is so clear! I was shocked!
As part of the package, I received all this! About 15 pictures printed out, a disc with every picture taken and a dvd with the entire session with beautiful background lullaby music! WOW!! So I can go and print my own pictures as I want and we were able to watch the dvd. I can not tell how real it made this baby to me!
I mean, I know it is a real baby but to actually see him, it was thrilling and just increased the love that I already have. Three and a half weeks and he will be here!
SO check out Elizabeth at My First Peek A Boo! I am so glad we did! One more thing and it is something that I LOVE and I do wish I had bought it! They offer stuffed animals that have a recording of your baby’s heartbeat, I want to get one of those so badly! I just may! I think what an amazing thing to share with your little one as they grow up… that is their heartbeat in your tummy…….. it is just wow. Unreal.
I asked Elizabeth why and how did she decide to open My first Peek a Boo, this was her response:
