Orange chicken

Super easy and really delicious orange chicken!
Ingredients
  • 1½-2 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 eggs
  • splash of milk
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • frying oil preheated to 375 degrees
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • zest from 1 large orange
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 4 tsp corn starch
Instructions
  1. Combine milk, eggs and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge chicken in cornstarch, egg mixture then cornstarch again.
  3. fry chicken in batches until golden brown.
  4. Keep warm in 200 degree oven on cooling rack
  5. Sauce:
  6. Combine all sauce ingredients until smooth. Heat over medium heat until thick bubbly and reduced by half.
  7. Gently combine sauce and fried chicken.
  8. Serve over rice, feel free to garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
