Happy, happy Fabulous Friday!! The end of a pretty great week! Lots done! I will be sharing some of it next week! But, I got almost everything done for this baby! Now it is will just be a few loose ends and then waiting for his arrival!
I am grateful for this week, I have been so much more exhausted than normal, I am guessing that is normal for 37.5 weeks pregnant…. My friend Heather keeps telling me to rest, let others help, sleep! It is very sweet and kind of her to be so thoughtful, it is also very hard for me to do! Yesterday, I cleaned the house and made a birthday dinner for our family and Mikes sister and her family and there were a few times I was thinking, I should go lay down but I just wanted to get things finished! Hopefully, this next week I relax a little more….. working on it!
I did get a lot done this week so I am super grateful for that! There is a lot to do with prepping for baby number 8!! I feel like every time I get something done…………… two days later it needs redone! It will all work out! AND HEY If the first two weeks of a new baby, the family eats peanut butter sandwiches or cereal… it will be okay!
Still have not gotten those maternity pictures :( Sad I know! We are trying for this afternoon and if not today, tomorrow! IT WILL HAPPEN!! So stay posted :)
This weeks Fabulous Five Friday for Oct 17!!!! Here we go!!
My bags are packed! 90% done! All I need is clothes to come home in! I have my breast friend pillow(best nursing pillow in the world!) My labor bag (blue) my bag (pink) and babys bag (gray) Next week I will be sharing my must haves for labor and delivery! So you can see what goodies are in these bags… you are excited I know it!
My good old dollar store decorations! Yup! I did the original post here! AGAIN OLDER POST SO NOT GREAT PICTURES! But it was fun, this year I made the orange and black beans by well just having black beans and then spray painting garbanzo beans! There will be a future post about that! But fun décor and I got it all up! whooo hooo! Who knows when it will come down….
KALE!! My amazing gardening friend Joylyn dropped this off last night! SOOOO EXCITED!! Kale is amazing for Kale soup! You can find that recipe HERE!! It is a family favorite and super easy! So kale soup in on the menu for next week! My family is thrilled!!
This sweet little just thinking of you drop by! My friend Breann, dropped off some books that I had mentioned in passing that I wanted to read and some cute little baby gifts! So sweet and so thoughtful! I am reading Believing Christ and it is really, really good! I am hoping it encourages me to sit down a bit more, not just stay up super late and read! haha! Very unexpected and so very appreciated!
I hope these make you think of all the fun, wonderful stuff that has made your week more fabulous! Sometimes I need to remember to look for all the good that is around. If I don’t, it can go unnoticed!
Tomorrow is HESTON”S 8th Birthday!! YAY!!! Look for his post either on Sat, or Monday!
Finished almost all baby prep items!!
Dinner turned out super!
Fun visit with Joylyn! Love her!
Emma had a choir concert! She looked beautiful and sang so lovely( I heard she did, Only Mike and Lucy went! $ 4.oo a person! So we will make a date out of her for her Christmas concert! Otherwise its $32.00 for our family to go!!)
baby has dropped so I can breathe better, I have to pee every ten minutes but hey! I can breathe!!
During breakfast, I leave to another room to get something, contacts on maybe, answer the door, I don’t know what I was doing, but I come back and all the little girls are gone from the table, and I hear little giggles…. pulled up the table cloth and this is what I see! I loved it! Sure love these kids of mine, I am one lucky girl to be their mom….
