HAPPY HAPPY Monday!! I hope you are excited for a super week! I sure am! It has warmed up a bit! YAY!! It is in the teens! THIS IS SO WARM!! Compared to last weeks negative thirty days!! Haha! I just wanted to share a little bit of our Sunday! Little Hinckley has started smiling more and more and I am just so excited to share some pictures! I also have not shared very many messy moments lately and wanted to share one of the many that we have had!
I would not want you to think that we have not had lots of those messy, crazy days! Haha!! Life is wonderful though and I am so grateful for all the blessings I have. I went to church yesterday and was so grateful for the lessons that we had. So many truths are shown to us when we are looking to be uplifted. I have found that when I am searching….. I seem to find what I am looking for. It can just be encouragement as a mom, or a wife or just as a daughter of God. One of the quotes that really spoke to me was:
I have been really trying to figure out a balance. Balance between blogging, home stuff, church, my kids, my sweet husband and time for my self! Phew there is a lot and it is not easy! I really loved this quote because it simplifies it for me. Put the most important things first. The Lord and if we are doing that it will fall into place. So I am going to really try that this week! We will see how it goes! Isn’t that a fabulous quote though? Sure put things in perspective and I think it simplifies choices… I love simple!
Last night, Emma and I were hanging out in my room with Mr. Hinckley. I started playing with him and Emma snapped a few pictures! I did not catch on to what she was doing first and then when I did, I was worried! I was in my pjs, it was late, I was ready for bed ( it was already 7pm haha!) My room was a mess! Aughh!! I almost asked her to stop, but then thought “no, who cares about all that, I am being a mom!” So here are a few of those fun pictures!
Have I mentioned how much I love that Emma is getting older and we can hang out. We are able to share clothes and chat and it is amazing and unnerving at the same time! 15 years old is a hard time! We are learning as we go and I am just hoping to give her the confidence and knowledge that is she is loved and has great value.
Emma did a fabulous job on the pictures!
I also want to share with you a Messy moment! I have not shared one of those in awhile….. no,it is not that we have not had any…it is that I have not had the time to share them! Haha! Or I forget to take pictures!
Last night, Cute Little Lucy helped Marsha get a sandwich! A yummy Chocolate sandwich! Very kind of her! Only messy thing was how Marsha eats a chocolate sandwich! Chocolate Everywhere!
Little Lucy was so kind! And Marsha was loving it!! When we tried to wash her hands, she ran away! She thought we were going to keep her sandwich! I think it is hilarious how she eats her sandwich straight down! Almost in half before she moves to side to eat it evenly!
Have you ever had a chocolate sandwich? My kids love them! I have never really had Nutella? Anyone have any good recipes with it? How do you eat it? Short of licking off the knife…. that is all the nutella I have ever had! So share your ideas!
I hope you have a super day!! I have lots to share coming up! I hope you check back tomorrow and if you never want to miss a new post, sign up for the email list above!!

I had to adjust to be gluten and corn free, didn’t have hazelnut extract, and we had made our own toasted hazelnut chocolate spread. I won 1st place at the fair with them.
Otherwise we just like to drizzle it on top of ice cream or brownies (especially our hazelnut based ones).
I think YOU should use it as the filling in you cinnamon rolls, making them chocolate hazelnut rolls. Yum!
or wrap a blob before frying your doughnuts. or …
