Happy, happy Monday! We have a “cold day” No school!! It is a freezing 13 below 0 and a freezing 35 below wind-chill! So we have no school! Since I have the treat of the kids being home one more day, I am not going to have a long post today! Instead I am going to enjoy my day with the kids! So far we have started our morning with warm French toast and are going to play some games. We are also going to do a fun freezing air activities that Grandma Abbott suggested! Throwing water in the air and watching it freeze ! Blowing bubbles that burst, watching balloons shrink and trying to make some snow! Thanks Grandma Abbott for some great ideas!! Hopefully, the kids can all get along and not get cabin fever! Stay warm!! Enjoy who are you with today!! Have fun!
Huge hugs!

Is there a trick to the thrown water freezing?
LaraM says
Stacy, It didn’t work! So bummed! We are going to try a spray bottle but throwing water in the air, just stayed water! Bummer!

Paul was able to do it with boiling water. Throw it high and hard. It’s really the vapor that freezes, turning into ice crystals.
LaraM says
Will do Stacy! thank you!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day. I don’t know what telestrations is but it sounds fun. Also, you must post pictures of throwing water and it freezing. I bet it looks so cool.
