Happy, happy Friday! Yay! It is Friday! Family fun night ahead! Homemade pizza and a movie! I think I am going to make a special dessert tonight also! I will share it with you all next week! My friend Heather found this great deal on strawberries… 1 pound for .50 cents! HOLY COW! So it will have strawberries in it!
This week has been great! We got some stuff finished around the house that we have been working on for quite some time! By no means has the list disappeared but it has gotten a little smaller! Yay for that!!
Here are my fabulous five this week!
My week started of super because of this simple soda! My friend Heather, you remember her, she was my lice super hero and came to save the day with that fiasco! Well I babysat her children on Monday for a few hours and when they were dropped off, they brought this in! I love a fountain pop! I can not think of the last time I had a fountain drink… it was so good and more importantly it was so kind. Just because… so thoughtful.. she is so wonderful! I enjoyed every little sip of it, well and so did the kids…. you try and drink a pop with lots of kids running around! haha!
We finished our clothesline! YES!! We purchased the parts for this last year! YES! Last year! In the end it only took about an hour or two…. talk about making it harder in your mind! I love it! The kids have helped hang clothes and we are saving money! AND it only cost about $10.00 to make! WHOO HOO!! We have not figured out how to make it tighter, or do clotheslines always sag a bit?
This is not new, but I have really been noticing it the last week, so it has to go on! Mike helped decorate! He did this a few months ago and I just have not switched it out! HAHA! I put in the first picture and Mike helped with the rest! It is up on our mantle and everyone that comes over, notices it and laughs! I love Mikes sense of humor and his decorating “help” if you can call it that!
Our fire pit! We finished that too! We had this tiny one that we made with like 36 bricks, so you can imagine how small! This one fits our family more! AND bonus those stones were only .33 cents a piece! Whoo hooo! We had family prayer and marshmallows last night around it and it was so lovely….. I am still so, so, so grateful for our home, We have been here for two years now and I still thank Heavenly Father for our home.
This saying, this block Emma got from a young womens activity, I loved it so much I put it in the living room. I love what it says and it is so true! I know it, I live it and I love it! Yesterday was a really hard day pregnancy wise. I drove the kids to the store and had to pull over because I felt like I was about to pass out, I was so scared to drive home, the feeling just would not go away, I said a prayer, ate some crackers and drank some milk, I actually bought a gallon of milk and was drinking it out of the jug in the car! Ha ha! I got home and was so grateful to be home! I asked Mike for a blessing and tried to drink lots of water. I was having pressure, not really contractions but pressure and this overall passing out feeling……….. After my blessing I felt a lot better, I am so grateful for the priesthood, so grateful for my religion, grateful to be a Mormon. It did not completely go away, I still feel like I am on the verge of passing out, I am feeling short of breath… it is so weird, I know.. I will be calling the dr today, so I will keep you posted :) Aside from all that I am grateful to be a Mormon. You can always check out Mormon.org if you want to ever find out more about Mormons :) or ask me!
Those are my fabulous five this week! What were your top five? Did you finish or start any great projects? I will see you soon and thank you so much friends for stopping in! I love it! I love you!

We have a retractable clothesline, I even bought clothespins last month. Maybe I should use it. I hope you feel better, and don’t pass out. That is never a fun experience.
I’ll share three.
Having my van back from being repaired. It no longer shakes or squeaks. It doesn’t drip whatever it was dripping. I can roll down the driver’s window!
Grapes. I haven’t eaten them in awhile, usually just give them to the kids. I ate some this week and remembered how much I like them.
Spontaneous date night!
