Happy, happy Friday! It is Friday once again! Who is excited??? I am!! A wonderful week was had by all and I am excited for a wonderful weekend!! Lots to do this weekend! I am looking forward to it all! I am getting my grey hair taken care of tomorrow! SOOOOO EXCITED about that! Thanks to my gifted cousin Jen! I am so excited to see her and get to hang out for a bit! It’s date night! Not sure what we are doing but I am just thrilled to spend some time with Mike. He is not feeling well, so it may just be playing a game or watching a movie, but we will be together and that is all that matters. Family Movie night! That will be fun as well. We are going to watch EPIC.. haven’t seen it yet, I hope it is lovely for even the little ones. We get to run errands and deep clean the house, have church and be together. I love weekends!
But today is Friday and I am so excited to share my five fabulous things this week! Everyday is filled with little joys and that is why I keep a smile book, so I remember daily the joyful things. On Fridays I like to share some big things that were super joy filled! Here they are and I hope they make you smile, even if a just a little….
WE FOUND THE REMOTES!! I know that seems silly but we misplaced not one but two remotes! Not that I even watch that much tv, but when you do want to watch it and there is no remote…. grrr. We found them! YES!
Heston putting away the toilet paper, I had to put up both pictures. I hear this noise, something being thrown, something falling, it being thrown again. I go in the bathroom and Heston is throwing the toilet paper to the top shelf. So of course I had to get a picture! Hey, I am excited he was helping! Does it really matter that the toilet paper is not lined up perfectly…. no! Next time, I will have Mikey or Emma do that job but for this week. Well done Heston! Oh, and yes those are cook books mixed in with cleaning supplies! I needed more space !!
Tuckers sweet thank you list, this is from a two years ago, but I was cleaning out my desk and found this, I love so much about this list….. His daddy, His Uncle Tommy, apples and changing the Y to the word my for My family! The one I noticed first was Uncle Tommy. We don’t get to hang out a lot with Tommy and it made me so happy that even though we don’t see him tons, Tucker still loves him and is thankful for him. Tommy holds a very special place in my heart, I still remember coming home from school and my mom was in labor with him… she had a home birth and I was lucky enough to see him born…. I just walked by at the right time! I love him very much and I am so glad Tucker loves him too!
DALES SEASONING!! Oh my heavens people!! GET THIS!! I had never used this before until I moved to Florida and My Aunt Ruth introduced this to me… that was 18 years ago and I never forgot it, I remember going over for dinner every Sunday and they were so loving and welcoming. I was far from home and very homesick. It was so nice to be loved by them. After I moved back to WI, I used to tell people about this amazing marinade that I just loved! I found it the other day at Wal-Mart! I literally yelled “YES!” I used it the very next day! It brought back so many wonderful memories with my Aunt, Uncle and my cousins! I love this stuff! I did buy 10 bottles just in case I never see it again!
And last but not least…. Mikey! This is Mikeys Library list! Yes, my friends that is the receipt for the books he borrowed for a two week period…96 books! And I do believe he will have read every one of those books before two weeks is up! When I took his picture, he was bummed I didn’t get the last one that had a 105 books on it! I love how much all the kids love to read! It makes me just sooo happy!

It was 20 degrees! That is 60 degrees warmer then the week before!
