Happy Friday everyone! How are you!! It is Friday! Yes!! After a busy week, aren’t weekends just the best! I think so! Emma has off school today so I get another day with her! I love it! I am so excited to share my fabulous five things this week that have made me really happy or that I just love and want to share!
Old Spice my friends! Old Spice! This is Mikey’s old spice, it is on my fab five because he loves it! He puts on about ten strokes per arm a few times a day. As he walks by you , the wafting odor of Old Spice lingers…. He loves it, Emma and Mike are not loving it! Truly, when he is in the room you smell him. I have encouraged him to just use it once a day and only 2 strokes maybe three…. we will see how it goes! This picture is mikeys nightstand, do you love all his notecards? We were at Mikes Uncle Gordons funeral and during one of the talks, his son-in-law held up a huge pile of notecards that Gordon had just bought ( he loved notecards too) , Mikey quietly uttered ” I could really use those” It made me smile and it still makes me smile! I love it! This is actually two in one, the notecards and the deodorant!
Melissa and Doug Crayons! Lucy got these from her sweet Aunt Becky and she LOVES them! I love them because they are super sturdy! They color so nice and don’t break easily! They are also triangle-shaped! I love them! Thank you Aunt Becky!!
The laundry chute! Hey I know it is an everyday thing! I LOVE IT! With Laundry for nine people and at our old house the laundry was in the basement, to have a laundry chute is FABULOUS! We have lived here a year and every time I do laundry, I think THANK YOU! I LOVE IT! The kids also like to drop stuff down the chute and some of the kids will hide in the little cubby the laundry lands in, so fun for everyone all around!
This guy! We had a weekend away and all I can say is I love him more today than yesterday. It was a wonderful weekend, spent being together. We didn’t spend a bunch of money or do a bunch of fancy stuff, we were just together, talking, laughing, watching movies and falling even more in love. I am so grateful for him. I am grateful for the husband he is, grateful for the dad he is and grateful for the friend he is. I think I am luckiest girl that he picked me. I am excited and grateful to be his eternal companion. He makes me smile everyday and I love him so very much.
The Book of Mormon! I am a Mormon and so proud of that. I have to tell you, I have been a member of the church my entire life. I have never read the whole Book of Mormon! Isn’t that terrible! It is! I have started it over and over , read parts of it at different times, but never the whole thing from start to finish. Well, I am so happy to say I finished it! I read it! I know it is a true book and I am so grateful for the things I learned and how my faith grew as I read it. I am thankful for the messages and I am now working on the reading the whole Bible!! I loved it. I really, really loved it.
There you go! The five things that made me feel really happy or really grateful this week! I hope your week was filled with joy and gratitude also! Enjoy your weekend! Tomorrow I am giving a review on a family game we love! Have a happy, happy day!

There is a laundry chute in our house. Except it is in the kitchen, halfway between our main laundry sources upstairs and the washer in the basement. I gather the kitchen laundry when I take down the regular laundry, so the chute is pointless. When I was little we had a chute in the bathroom, which makes a lot more sense.

Stacy,
Ours is in the bathroom also, which is on the same floor as the laundry room. It has been so nice! Our old house had laundry in the basement so I would gather all the kids laundry from upstairs and lug it to the basement! I do love the chute!
love,
Lara
