Happy, happy Friday!! It is time for fabulous five Friday!! Oct 24! This year is almost over!! I can not believe I have been blogging for almost 2 years I think! WOW! Consistently for over a year! That is mind boggling to me!
I am super excited for todays top five! This week has had a lot of info to digest and although I still am not sure how it is all going to work out, I have faith and peace knowing it will!
Baby update! I am going to see the dr. today, I am hoping to get some more info on the game plan for induction and how things are looking! I have another appointment on Tuesday, so I will keep you posted!
There was a lot to be grateful for this week! From friends just popping in to see how I was, to making and selling bread and getting to see those who bought it! I missed a few, I will have to make bread again so I can hug them! lol! So from bread to friends to super nurses, to a wonderful husband and a peaceful feeling from my Heavenly Father giving me the assurance that things will be ok. I am grateful!
I have a few biggies though that I want to share and I hope they brighten your day as much as they have brightened my week!!
My little nephew Nick, made these sweet little hats for the baby! His mom, Dana, mailed them to me and I was so surprised! First of all how cute! Second of all, how sweet of a young man to be so thoughtful and talented! He also has a list of boy names for us to consider! I loved it!! Both Nick and his mom! Grateful to be part of their Family!!
Triscuits!! and Cheese! My friend Raejean dropped these off for my hospital bag! How thoughtful! I was surprised she wanted to do that and super excited too! I will eat that whole box the first night I am up nursing! I know it! Raejean is a great friend and I am thankful for her! My kids call her Aunt Wilma, ( At one point she called Mike fred, he responded with “what Wilma?” it has stuck! ) So I am going to have to pack these now or they will be gone before this baby comes! I have not had squeezy cheese in years! I am kinda excited to try that again!!
Paneras Autumn Squash Soup! OH MY GOODNESS!! Delicious! What made it even more delicious? My sweet friend was supposed to be just dropping by to get some bread and a pocket peeler, instead she showed up with lunch! It was a great time, we were able to laugh, eat and just relax! I fed my kids peanut butter and I had some yummy soup! I am grateful for her friendship and her thoughtfulness!! It warmed my tummy and my heart!
ENGLISH TOFFEE! Homemade English toffee! I was given 7 pieces, I was told I could share it….. I have to admit, I have not shared it. Not at all…. I hid it! I hid it in the cupboard and have eaten a piece a day! My friend Stacy ( brilliant uber talented stacy) Made this and when she picked up bread she dropped some off to me! So sweet!! So thoughtful! I can not tell you how much I love little thoughtful gifts like that ! They just make me feel so very loved, Stacy was/is very sweet! She is my project runway buddy, and I am so grateful for her! AND this yummy toffee! I only have three pieces left, I may have to start eating half a piece a day!!
And last but certainly not least….. all the phone calls, and texts and sweet messages from you all! They have brightened my day and eased my heart. I know that many of them are an answer to my prayers to my Heavenly Father. I know that he is letting me know I am not alone, I have people I can lean on and I can know that others are praying on my and this babies behalf. That has meant more than anything. In particular, my friend Heather, has called, texted or popped over everyday to see what she can do to help so that I can rest more. I am so grateful for her. I am grateful for all of you. I know this baby will be fine, I know there are many who are struggling with so much more than a baby that needs to come a week or two early….. I am grateful that although my problems are not life threatening and could be much worse, I still feel supported, uplifted and encouraged that it will be okay. So to all of you, THANK YOU! Thank you very, very much!!

MESSY MOMENT:
Bathing the little girls, it is going great, we are almost done, I am about to take them out and I look away to talk to one of the boys who have come in….. in that moment Marsha dumps an entire large shampoo cup of water on me… it hold like 4 cups of water, all on my legs and tummy…. as I am grabbing that and trying to prevent getting any more soaked, Charli sweetly hands me a washcloth to wipe it up, a soaking wet washcloth straight out of the tub! I was drenched! Thank heavens it was the end of the night and time to get into pjs!! Haha!

Woo hoo that my treat made Fab Five. Haha that you didn’t share. I shared mine, which means it was gone too quickly.
How sweet of your nephew to make baby hats. I love that he also sent you name suggestions.
