Happy, happy Friday! I have made it through my first week blogging again! yay! I love it!! Super happy to be back!
This week has been wonderful for many reasons! Hard to count just five! I will try to it though! The more I think of all that I am grateful for, the more I realize how I need to be even more grateful than what I am! There are so many wonderful blessings in my life. That is not saying that my life is super easy, trust me it is not. There are everyday stresses that come and go daily, the big life stresses of money and bills, the family stresses of children and all that goes along with that! Family and my own time stress… the list goes on…
However, I have found that the more I recognize all the good in my life, I see how much more the good there is than the bad. A simple list of five at the end of the week is not enough! It never will be , that is why I love the smile book. I love to take a few moments at end of the day and just be grateful!
I hope you have more good than bad too! I hope as you think of all the good, you see all the little blessings in the your life and the joy!
Okay enough blabbering! Time for my top five this week!
Green Beans!
I love green beans! I mean love them! I love the way they smell, I love the sound they make when you pop off the stems, I love the color when you blanch them and I LOVE the way they taste! I have my favorite recipe ever for them, I am sharing that next week! They are on sale around here this week, :) and I think I have eaten at least five pounds myself!
A WHISTLE!!
Like a real whistle! I mentioned that last week and my sweet friend Stacy got me one! I have LOVED it!! The kids have already learned to come when they hear three blasts! No more yelling to come down for prayer! I am grateful for such a sweet friend to be thoughtful of me! She just popped in with it, made my day! So very sweet and thoughtful! Made my heart so happy!
My Egg Carton!
Silly I know, but it has such a lovely saying! It just makes me smile!! Brilliant, just Brilliant! I want everyones eggs to say this every morning! It just makes me happy and I smile every time I see it!
Tucker and Marsha playing!
My nephew had a birthday party this last weekend and while we were there, I caught Tucker playing with Marsha and just had to snap some pictures. He is so sweet and kind with her, I am so grateful for children that love one another, and even though they argue at times, and drive each other crazy, they really love one another, those little moments like these make life so wonderful. I am so grateful for sweet Tucker and what an amazing big brother he is!
M&Ms
I love these! It has actually been hard to not eat a handful every time I walk through the kitchen! They are delicious and I think I will go with a bit healthy because there is after all a peanut in there! I am just going to let myself have a handful a day…. a little treat is great! I really am loving dark chocolate lately also… they say your tastes change every seven years. I wonder if that is true, seems a bit of truth, seven years ago I was not a fan of dark chocolate! Any of you live by a costco? I so badly want the macadamia nut clusters with sea salt and caramel…. I need to pay someone to send me some of those! Until then peanut m&ms will do! Now, I want some! haha!
There you go! My top five this week! I can not wait for next week! I will let you know next week, there is a baby update complete with pictures! , that fabulous green bean recipe and a really easy and cute birthday gift idea! So check back often! I love hearing from you ! Share your top five! Leave a comment below and brighten everyones day!!
Smile book for yesterday!
-volleyball with some friends! Well, I watched with the little girls! The best was when Mike dove for a ball and brought the whole net down with him!
-Roasted Broccoli from our garden!!
-Marsha, is just so sweet, so huggy lately and when she gets mad she calls me LARA! I can not help but smile
-I love Mike so much, I know cheesy but I just love him more everyday,
-My comfy bed, we moved from a full back to a king…… ahhhhh I love a big bed! Especially when there always seem to be extra little people coming in to snuggle in the middle of the night!

With your team of kids, I thought the coach could use a real whistle. I’m glad you are enjoying it.
Three from me.
My stevia sprouted. Our school supply shopping is done, a month early, inspired by your outing. My children have discovered Legos. They were bought with birthday money this week and have been played with every day.
