Happy, Happy Friday!! Yay! It is Friday! The weekend is here! Time for family pizza, family movie night, getting the must do chores done, date night, church on Sunday, my nephews birthday party and lots of family time! It has been a busy week! Lots to be thankful for , so much in fact that I can not write it all down! But I will share some of my favorites of the week!
First and foremost my family, this week we have had some really great news regarding a dear friend and a living donor liver transplant that went really well! We also had some really tough news regarding a family member diagnosed with cancer. All of the good and the bad remind me of how grateful I am for my husband and my children. They are the center of my life and I am grateful every single day for them.
2.My friend Rachel, now Rachel has been a family friend for so many years now, since Emma was 5! I had the girls birthday party this week and was feeling the crunch! Rachel swooped in and saved the day! Brought over lasagna and salad for the entire birthday party! And it was about 30 people! She is wonderful!! IT was such a kind gesture and soooo appreciated! 3. A caramel apple cider drink! HOLY COW! I have never had Starbucks, nope never! My sweet sister Tiffany brought this to me earlier this week! IT WAS SOOO GOOD! I wanted to drink it all but I didn’t. I saved half of it for Mike, He loves apple cider and I knew he would enjoy it…. I really want one now…Seriuosly go out and get one, each of you today.. you will thank me later. Thanks Tiffany, Love you!!!
4. The bargain toilet paper holder! I don’t know if that is what it was, but that is what it is now! I got it for $2.50 at value village and I love it! We go through toilet paper like crazy, I love that now I will have 4 rolls always ready! Have you ever run out of toilet paper? I have, and let me tell you not fun! Try convincing a 2yr old to go to linen closet and get some! HAHA! Try it just for laughs, they will bring you everything but toilet paper~ AND number 5. I love, I mean LOVE the sound of rain on my car. If it is raining and I am in my car.. I will turn off the car and just sit for a few minutes to enjoy the rain. It is peaceful and calming. I know it will be awhile again before it rains, since snow is coming, so I wanted to really enjoy it while it was here.
These are my five for this week! I am grateful for this week! Like I said earlier in the post we have had some great news this week and some tough news. I wanted to share that I am grateful for it all. I know things can feel overwhelming at times. The house feels like it may never get clean, the kids are never going to get to bed at the right time, I may never get to work out and in the end, none of that matters. What matters are the relationships we have with our family, The Lord and our friends. I am so grateful for my family, I love them and I know they love me, I am grateful for The Lord and all he has given me. I am grateful for good friends, ones who just pop in with a sweet note, and those who come in times of need and let me know I matter. We all have so much to be thankful for! I challenge you this week to look for it! AND when you see it, acknowledge it! I have found the more good I look for the more good I see! Have a great, wonderful Friday!

I loved your expressions of gratitude. They were so touching.They helped me realize what is really important in life, especially during Thanksgiving time. I am bustling around trying to get everything ready, but am forgetting why Thanksgiving is here!

Ha Ha! Well, sometimes we end up switching the two. It depends on our babysitter! Last night after I made pizza, Mike surprised me with going out to dinner! YAY! So tonight we will hang out as a family! Most often I would say 90 percent of the time, Friday stays family movie or games and pizza!
