HAPPY,HAPPY TUESDAY!! I hope you are having a super morning! I have had a great morning so far!! There is a fresh blanket of snow and that always makes things look more beautiful. I love it!!
I want to share with you one of my favorite quotes! I try to live by this daily….
This is so true, it is true for our families, our friends, our co workers, and complete strangers that we see on the street. I can think of so many times, someones thoughtful words made my day so much better. This last Sunday is a great example. I was home with three sick kids, Emma, Marsha and Little Hinckley ( his first cold, poor baby) I got a text from my friend Joylyn, she just asked if I was okay and that church was not the same with out me. It made me feel so good! It brightened my day for the rest of the day!
I try to be thoughtful and make sure to smile at everyone I run into. Even if we are having a bad day, when we take a few minutes to be kind to someone else, our mood will be uplifted!
I think at times we forget about our families. Our families need us to be thoughtful and happy and kind! Give them kind words and be joyful when you see them. If I am not careful I will be on auto pilot, hurry we need to eat dinner, hurry we need to get teeth brushed , hurry we need to get to bed, I need to make sure I am being kind when saying these things. We are also teaching them how to handle life! To be kind!
I did a post about leaving sweet letters to your kids. You can read it HERE
You can do something as simple as a post it, and leave a quick note, it does not take long but it can mean so much and totally change that persons day!!
I hope you try this! I am going to go write some little love notes right now, and I am grateful for the all the times that someone said a kind word to me and changed my day!!
Answer to yesterdays question: I would love to travel to Italy…. oh my goodness the food there I bet is unreal!! If I traveled with kids:Disney of course to see Charli and Lucy meet the princesses ! WOW! With the older kids, I would go to Washington D.C that would be so fun!
Question of the Day: When has someones thoughtful words changed your day?
