Well here it is! 2014! The new year is here! Exciting! What will you do with this year? How will you use the next 365 days we have… I am excited to see what the new year brings! 2013 was a wonderful year! Filled with so much joy! This last year we have….celebrated our 16 year wedding anniversary, Mikes parents 50th, My parents 38th, Took a road trip with Mikes sister and her five kids, soo much fun! Throw 12 kids in a 15 passenger van, how can you not have fun! We built a fire pit, had so many summer evenings spent in front of it roasting marshmallows! Here is the rundown of the year for our family! Mike started a new job at EverGreen Elementary,( a school his dad opened!) He is teaching 3rd grade and loves it! I finally got contacts after 16 years, and I started BLOGGING! YAY! Emma had her first dance, turned 14 and got contacts! Mikey turned 11, has read over 500 books and started 22 clubs for our family to enjoy, Tucker turned 9, loves football and has realized how much fun it is to watch a football game with his dad! Heston turned 7! He is in first grade now, reads at a 3rd grade level and also LOVES watching football with his dad and playing outside every chance he gets! Lucy is 5 , this year she started kindergarten and LOVES it! She went on the trip of a lifetime! She and I went to Utah to see our best friends, I will never forget how she and Ruby (her little best friend) literally ran open arms to her after not seeing her for almost two years! I thought she would have been shy… Charlotte turned 3 and has become the best big sister, always trying to help with Marsha, she LOVES to sing and dance! I am enjoying everyday home with her. Marsha is our littlest, she just turned one! Marsha is starting to walk, taking a few steps here and there. Marsha loves to be held, LOVES to eat and is one the smiliest babies around! I am excited to start 2014! Every year is filled with wonderful and tough things, but if we choose to think about the good and see it everyday, our lives are improved. We can train ourselves to be happy and to see the joy. My wish to all of you is that you look in the mirror and you love what you see. You look at your life and see the wonderful, joy that is part of being on this earth. I choose everyday to be grateful, That is the best thing we can do for ourselves , our families, and each other. We are masters of our own destiny. The more we practice self-discipline and try, the more we become who we are meant to be! Happy new year everyone! I have some exciting things I will be sharing this next year! I look so forward to it all! Have a happy, wonderful, lovely day!
