Happy, Happy Tuesday! What a lovely day! I am running very late on my post! Sorry! Hey it is real life! Everyone is home from school and to be honest we have just enjoyed the morning! It was so lovely! I love waking the kids up with no school. There is no rush to it! But time to get to work! This is a simple hot fudge sauce! SUPER EASY! It is wonderful for a gift, for a great teacher, for a friend, neighbor, just about everyone. I mean who doesn’t love chocolate! A simple way to remember is a cup, a cube, a can! A cup of chocolate chips, a cube(stick)of butter and a can of sweetened condensed milk…. ya ready.. here we go!
Take one stick of butter, melt over med heat until fully melted. Lower heat to low, and add one cup of chocolate. Stir until fully melted. Add one can of sweetened condensed milk. Stir, Stir, Stir until fully incorporated. Once fully melted, I like to add a pinch of kosher salt to the sauce and stir that. YES salt!! It is delicious!!! YOU ARE DONE! It really is that simple! Pour in a mason jar, or even an old pickle or jelly jar :) hey I use them all! Throw a bow on it and you have a lovely gift! This keeps in the fridge for a month! To reheat, just put in the microwave for 30 seconds and stir, if not melted enough, microwave for 10 seconds longer. ENJOY!! Hope your day is fabulous! I will share the apples later, I had some sprite, which I needed for the recipe….. notice the word had…. Kids had pop with dinner! HAHA! Back to the store I will go! YAY! IT is almost thanksgiving!! Have a happy day!!
HUGE hugs,
Lara
