Happy, happy Thursday! BIG DAY HERE!! First of all it is the international day of Happiness! I LOVE IT! I am going to try to look for all the things that make me happy today! Look for them, find them and be grateful for them! Happiness day! I just love it! I wonder if there is a national smile day! Wouldn’t that be fabulous!! Second of all, tonight is my littlest sister Katy’s baby shower!
It is a big, busy day for me! I am hosting a sweet baby girl shower for my littlest sister Katy! TONIGHT! Katy is having her baby in three short weeks and we are having a little shower to celebrate the pending arrival of her darling daughter! I am not sure if she has announced the name to everyone, so I will not divulge that info but I will give you the initial! It is M! I wanted to share some pictures of todays upcoming crafts!
I am making some yummy food too! I will be taking lots and lots of pictures to share! In advance I want to thank a few people who are helping at crunch time! My sweet friend Ashlee Smith, you may remember her from her blog ashleemartinsmith.com, she is helping with all the labels and some pretzel dipping! THANK YOU! My sisters Maria, Joani, Becky and sister in laws Natalie and Shanae are all helping with things like balloons, straws and some ribbons! Thank you Liz, that is Katys mother-in-law, she is making a delicious strawberry salad, yum! AND Tiffany, thank you for the air compressor! The thought of blowing up 40 balloons….. oof! I may never give it back! Does she remember how many birthdays we celebrate in this house!!
So I am off, to attempt to clean my house, cook lots of food, and make a billion and one crafts! I am dressed for the day, sweats and warm socks! I have lunch prepared, called sandwiches and I am ready to go! Today is going to be busy! Mike and the little ones have after school clubs and Mike is hosting a chili night with a bunch of guys from church…. so it is the kids and the baby shower for me! I will be bribing them to stay in the basement with a movie and popcorn… I may have to add a juice box! WISH ME LUCK!!
SMILE BOOK!
-last night when I picked the kids up from youth group, my friend Tim Hansen from church scared the heck out of me! I don’t think I have screamed that loud in a while! I love that I have been at the same church since we moved here in 1990! Tim is like family and I love him!
-in a total of 3 hours I got to four stores and got all my errands done last night! YES!!
-Made salmon and rice for lunch yesterday, Charli was blowing her rice to cool it down, it went every where, while I was cleaning that up, she decided to make a snowball out of the remaining rice and throw it to me…………. rice everywhere! I had to laugh!
-Chocolate covered marshmallows- that is all……
