HAPPY HAPPY Tuesday! It is CHRISTMAS EVE!!! Yay!! I am so, so very excited! This is the first year I have everything done before today! I usually am up wrapping till one in the morning! Not this year! I know everyone has lots to do, and so I appreciate you popping in to say hello! Have you ever had someone you forgot to grab a gift for? Or realize you need just one more! I have a great idea! All you need is olive oil, sugar and a container! To make it extra special, some food coloring and a bit of flavoring. I have seen a lot of recipes on pinterest for a sugar scrub, I looked up a few and I just did not love them, so I made my own. This sugar scrub is a more wet one. I love it. It reminds me of the bare essentials kind. Are you ready!! Are you excited? I am! Now, let me tell you, I did make these in advance this year for some special people. So if you get one, please know I love you and you were not a last minute thought! If you do plan ahead, it is fun to think of flavors and colors that the person you are making it for would enjoy.
When you gift these, you can tell them to use it you just scoop out about a tbsp. and rub it all over your hands, or feet until the oil is absorbed. It leaves them so silky, soft and smelling delicious! I hope you have a very, very merry Christmas! I think we all have so much to be grateful for and I love that this time of year we are encouraged to remember all the good we have in our lives. I hope you enjoy your families and if you are someone who has loved ones far away, or in Heaven…I think of I’ll be home for Christmas is a great song to think of. Even if it is in our dreams, they are in our hearts and on our minds. Merry Christmas!
HUGE Hugs,
Lara

I LOVE this idea!!! I use sugar scrub all the time. I was given candy cade sugar scrub from a girlfriend and have already used it. It has helped my head cold and it has real candy cane in it. You can’t go wrong with a body scrub. As we get older our skin gets weird (my dermatologist uses this term). Scrubs rock!!! Great idea Lara!!!!
