Happy, happy Tuesday everyone! Oh my goodness it feels so great to type those words!! Goodness gracious it has been forever! We have a new baby! Hinckley is now 4 weeks old! I am feeling more like my normal self every day! Getting used to our new family dynamics has been a bit harder than thought. I was thinking I could go right back to blogging after he was born! I even brought my laptop to the hospital! haha! Boy was I wrong! I forgot how exhausted having a baby makes you! How little sleep you get and also how much work it is!
Add that to seven existing children and well….. I am tired and still not totally pulled together yet! But getting more organized every day!
This sweet little baby has had some nursing challenges that were/are new to me. Nursing has always been so easy and minus the little milk drying up and almost starving Charlotte, problem free. Hinckley has just been more of a challenge so nursing takes much longer and more work. BUT we are figuring it out and I think it gets a bit better every day! Yay!
I wanted to share a few things today! Some cute pictures of little Hinckley and my December to do list!!
Do you have a December to do list? It is great to think about all the stuff you would like to do this magical month and make plans to make those things happen! Those who fail to plan, plan to fail” I forgot who said that, but it is brilliant!
The list is kind of long! But we have a lot to get in the next few weeks!!
-set up tree, after finished eat chocolate chip cookies, drink hot chocolate and read a christmas story!
-go christmas caroling
-exchange names with the kids,it is always fun to see what they make for each other or what they pick with a budget of $3.00!!
-celebrate 17 years of wedded bliss with Mike! ( on the 20th, 17 years! holy cow!)
-pass out blankets to the needy
-watch at least 4 christmas movies as a family
-build a snowman
-have a snowball fight
-make “snow” ice cream
-make homemade donuts
-write letters to Santa
-Go to church christmas party
-Make our “stockings”
-Finish crafts for gifts
-Blog at least three times a week
-Date night every week! ( even if a stay at home date!)
-Deep clean the basement
-go in the hot tub at least once
-family pictures done with little Hinckley!
-order a Meier family picture for the living room
-organize christmas gifts list ( first year in a long time that i am not almost done already! I have not really started! AUGH!)
-Read scriptures daily
-Go visit sisters in the ward

– Enjoy every day…. it will be over before I know it!

I’m happy to see you blogging again.
We usually have a few things on the December list. This year it is all about getting to the theatre for our play. We did take our free night Friday to have the children decorate their tree. I may be decorating the big tree alone this year.
