Happy Monday! Yes! It is Monday! I am excited we have one more week with the kids!! Vacation time is so fleeting…. so we are trying to enjoy every moment! We made a fun, delicious treat the other night!!! The kids loved it, I loved it, Mike loved it… What was it??? ROLO TURTLES! Yummy!! I love these little bites! I had never had them before and last year, my sweet friend Melanie gave me some for Christmas…. oh my goodness! I seriously ate all of them in two days! She had given me a little package full of them, I had one, thought “Wow!” I hid them, I ate them all within the next 36 hours! SO be prepared for them to not last long! We made quite a big batch, yes , they are all gone, they did not even last three hours! I promised the kids we would make more, I promised myself we would make more! So run to the store, TODAY, try these, you will not be disappointed! We will be making these again tonight!
Grab a bag or two and unwrap all the rolos, try not to eat them!
Grab a bag of pretzels. I like just the basic mini pretzels.
Also, get about a cup of pecan halves, you may not use them all. That is okay!
On a cookie sheet, either sprayed with non stick cooking spray or wax paper , put pretzels in single layer and top each one with a single rolo. Look at my hubbys cute hand :)
Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 3-4 minutes, until chocolate is starting to melt…..
Once starting to melt, pull them from the oven and pop a pecan half on each one. Or you can leave them plain…. trust me they are good either way!
We kept half plain for the kids and half pecan for us! Let them cool!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Put wax paper down on cookie sheet, if you do not do this, you will be sad…… they will stick and break, still taste yummy, but not pretty!
Place pretzels on cookie sheet, place one unwrapped Rolo on each pretzel
Bake in oven for about 3-4 min, just until the chocolate is starting to melt and soft.
Place one pecan half on top of Rolo. Push it down slightly.
Let cool and ENJOY! In my opinion, they are much better cooled than hot, try to master self control and wait till they are cool!
You can store them covered for about a week, if they last that long! PERFECT GIFT idea! This and a sweet letter! Also, if you ever are going to someone’s home, it is a great little hostess gift! Love it! Enjoy your day! Today we are going to run some errands, have family home evening and have my brother and his wife over for dinner! LIFE IS WONDERFUL!!
