Happy Tuesday everyone! Guess what! It is March 25!! and IT SNOWED! It snowed enough to completely cover the ground! OH my goodness! It is very pretty and I am pretty sure this will be the last snowfall of the year! I think of it as a farewell kiss, it is so beautiful! I love it!
I wanted to share a few quick pictures of our trip over spring break! We went to Christmas Mountain in the Dells, It was SO FUN! Mikes mom, dad and brother came. AND Mikes sister Emily, her husband and their three children came! WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE! The days were full of fun and the nights were full of games! After the kids were finally in bed ( mine not hers, her children go to bed so lovely!) we would go to Emilys “house” and play games. My new favorite is one called phases. Super fun!
I wanted to share the first day of pictures! YES! Only the first day, I will share more later. We were there for 6 days so there are lots! The first day was a surprise to Ethan, Emilys son, he did not know all the family was coming! He was so thrilled! He had just had his “golden” birthday so we celebrated with a little party and cake!

Little Lucy and Brooklyn! They had a blast together! We were all sharing plates! Each house only had 12! After this night, we pooled our plates and all ate at our “house”. IT was FABULOUS!

Mikey has a new obsession with chess! He played so much the whole week. Every time we turned around he was playing and asking someone to play! Heston and Marsha are getting in the fun! I love it!
Even Grandpa and Uncle Jeff joined in! No worries if you didn’t know how to play, Mikey was ready to teach you!

AND! Playing catch while jumping on the bed! JOYFUL! They were safe and not jumping hard or high! It was so fun to see them play so much! This was the first night after hours of driving! It was such a great week! I am so grateful we got to spend time away from the business of the world and just enjoy one another. The week flew by much too fast!
