Happy Spring break everyone! Days of swimming, so many storms and a must have dish! I wanted to share my must haves of traveling and although I have a million pictures and ideas to share with you, I am sad to say they will have to wait!
We are up near the Dells in Wisconsin and there is terrible service here! So while I do have some service and sweet Mike took all the kids to the pool, I have a few minutes to share with you some fun pictures and thoughts.
I think I love vacations for a few reasons, one is that it reminds us to slow down, put away the phones, the emails, the instagram and just focus on family. I am a queen at vacationing with limited funds. I have learned what works to save money and what doesn’t. So with our small budget and 8 very excited children, it is quite important to have that figured out before we leave. I wanted to share my number one dish while on vacation!
The little red basket. Yes! A little red basket, you know the ones you see at fast food places, it is the perfect dish for so many things! I will be sharing a whole post on it later but for now with my limited time and very limited internet I wanted to give you a sneak peek!
This little red basket is awesome!! So I hope you will check back next week to see the entire post on it! But I use these little puppies ALL the time!
I am in heaven, I love spending time with my family, we are filling the days with swimming, laughing, playing fun games, movies and memories. I wish I could walk around with a camera and take pictures all day of everything, so I don’t miss a thing. That is not possible though. So I am trying to take as many pictures as I can in my heart.
My kids are all growing so fast, Hinckley still brand new and Emma only 2.5 years away from being an adult. There is so much to do and see and experience with them and I am so grateful for this time I have to be with them.
I wanted to share a few pictures! I won’t bore you with a million, just a few, Although be warned! I may be sharing more later ;)
Are you shocked Hinckley is spitting up? Haha! Not at all!
But he is happy!
Sweet Emma and Charli! I think the thing I love most about Vacations is that the kids get to reconnect and just play together, I love it!
This cute boy!
This sweet Girl!
Taco!!!
Love seeing Mikey play ball!
And Little Marsha! With a little bit of lunch still on her face I see! haha! Not sure how to edit that out, but hey like I always say… lets keep it real!
I am in Heaven right now, with my family, cozy and warm and one of my most favorite things in the world………… a day full of thunderstorms! I love it!
Would it be terrible if I just sat and listened for a few hours? What a beautiful world we live in, so grateful for all the beautiful seasons.
Okay, Little Hinckley is waking up and that means off the to the pool we go! Our friends Heather, Dan and their sweet and wonderful kids came up yesterday so we have the next few days to be with them! We are so excited and so grateful for them!
I hope I can blog tomorrow… fingers crossed the internet works well!
